Dagran Announces the Release of InfiniLinks
v2.0 |
|
Tucson, Arizona (January 11, 2004)
- Dagran, a leader in healthcare systems integration solutions,
announced
today the release of an enhanced version of InfiniLinks. The
new release, Version 2.0, is available immediately. InfiniLinks,
is a powerful integration engine that delivers advanced messaging
capabilities to healthcare organizations. |
|
"InfiniLinks Version 2.0 delivers on our
promise to not only make InfiniLinks one of the most powerful
interface engines on the market, but also one of the easiest
to implement", said Andrew Mallon, Development Manger
of Dagran. "The major enhancements in InfiniLinks 2.0
will dramatically reduce the amount of time needed to develop,
deploy, and administer interfaces, which provides our users
with measurable cost savings." |
|
The central benefits of the new
release are improved ease of use and further improvements in
the core technology. |
|
Remote Configuration Application (RCA) |
The RCA gives the user complete control over
the interface engine's component configuration and actively
manage the behavior of the server by modifying its run-time
parameters. The RCA can control an InfiniLinks server running
on a local network or control a remote server via TCP/IP. The
tool is seamlessly integrated into the InfiniLinks environment
and provides context-sensitive help displaying information
in HTML format. |
|
Queue File Enhancements |
The queue files have been extensively
enhanced for this release of InfiniLinks. Queues now support
journaling
and automatic recovery, which means that a queue will rebuild
itself if it becomes corrupted. Queues may now retain messages
for browsing and message administration. Additionally, developers
may assign a unique view to each queue, allowing system administrators
the ability to display key fields within a message, rather
than having to scroll through the raw text for thousands of
messages. |
|
Communications Definition Language (CDL) |
Serial device communications protocol
has been added to the list of communications protocol supported
within
InfiniLinks. In addition, the CDL function library has been
enhanced with new functions that allow the end-user to read
and write to text and binary files, as well as invoke external
applications. A host of performance-related enhancements round
out the list of changes, ensuring that the CDL sub-module remains
as fast as it is flexible. |
